"Smash" less than that in Week 2

Have you caught NBC's latest over-hyped TV series, "Smash".  The musical drama from Executive Producer Stephen Spielberg, heavily promoted before and during the Super Bowl debuted solidly on the night after the BIG GAME, but audience numbers fell off measurably for Week Two this past Monday.

TV Line's Matt Webb Mitovich says "Smash" drew 8.1 million viewers, down 29 percent from the opener, losing a quarter of the valued 18-49 year old audience.

Leading into "Shash", the voice had almost twice as many viewers, down 10% from it's gaudy numbers of last week.

Happy to see Courteney Cox's quirky "Cougar Town" back on the ABC schedule starting tonight!  And, the new Tim Allen comedy "Last Man Standing" is growing on me.
