(New Prague, MN) -- A small bank in New Prague is the seventh in the state of Minnesota to fail this year. Regulators shut down Community Security Bank of New Prague Friday and sold it to Roundbank of Waseca. Community Security had assets of 108-million dollars and more than 99-million in deposits. Its one location opens today as a branch of Roundbank. Fourteen Minnesota banks have failed since the banking crisis began in the fall of 2007.
