UNDATED -- It’s been a deadly weekend on the roads and on the water in West Michigan, over a dozen people have been killed, far worse than any weekend this year.

It began Friday with a pair of nearly identical t-bone crashes. one in Kalamazoo County’s Alamo Township, the other in Martin in Allegan County. One man died in each of those collisions.

Saturday morning, 63-year-old Terrence Eaton of Grand Haven was killed in a three vehicle wreck at an intersection in Van Buren County involving an ambulance that was doing a transport. It happened at M-40 and 78th Ave. in Porter Township.

A few hours later, 56-year-old Dwight Campbell of Kalamazoo was killed

When deputies say he ran a stop sign at D Ave. and 2nd Street and was hit broadside in the driver’s side door.

Yesterday, a 4 year old boy was killed in a one car crash south of Three Rivers on Lutz road when their car left the roadway. A 5 year old in the car was airlifted to Bronson Methodist and their parents were also hospitalized. The boy’s name has not yet been released.

Deputies say alcohol and drugs may have been a factor.

A Motorcyclist died around 2PM yesterday when he crossed the centerline near Velte Road near E. Brown in Barry County and was hit by a truck head on. Police say it appears that the truck dragged the motorcycle and it’s rider for some distance before it was able to stop. A neighbor had to use a fork lift to lift the truck off the victim, 43-year-old Richard Hill Jr. of Lake Odessa, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
